A quintessential modern Panerai, the PAM317 was introduced in 2008 and it came from the lineage of the contemporary Panerai with their in-house movement.

It has a large 1950 style 44mm ceramic case and domed sapphire crystal with a symmetrical dial displaying the iconic linear power reserve indicator, chronograph counter, 24 hour indicator as well as GMT hand.

Powered by the Cal. 2004 in-house movement with 8-days power reserve and a monopusher chronograph that can be activated (start-stop-reset) from a single button at 8.

The example we have here is a K series, from the first year it was produced and it has a PVD coated movement as opposed to the newer one with a smoked sapphire crystal back making it a collectible given its uniqueness and rarity.
