The Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase was first introduced in 2014 with a large moon phase indicator placed at the center of the main dial. Not only making it look more distinctive but it is also accurate for over 100 years once its correctly set.

The Lumen variant was conceived two years later as a 200 piece limited edition. And as it is with the previous Lumens, it has a semi transparent smoked sapphire crystal dial with luminous material applied on the hands, date wheel, and the moon phase indicator.

It measures at a contemporary 41mm case diameter with a slim 9.5mm profile and crafted in Platinum.

The Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase Lumen is powered by the Cal. L095.4 which highlights its large moon phase indicator that only need to be corrected by one day after 122.6 years once the watch is correctly set and assuming that it keeps running. It is achieved by utilising the hour-train to keep the moon phase in constant slow motion with a seven gear train.
