The original Linesport Centigraphe was first produced in aluminum between 2011 and 2014. It was unlike anything FP Journe made in the past. With its unusual sporty aesthetic, aluminum case and movement as well as rubber bumpers on the crown and bracelet links.
It was then given an update and have the case and bracelet made in Titanium for better durability.
The Centigraphe is a chronograph unlike any other. It measures the time with a 1/100th second. It displays the hundredths of a second on its top left counter, next to it has the seconds counter that register the time in 20 seconds, and the bottom counter keep track of the elapsed minutes in 10 minutes segment.
It also has an unconventional rocker-style pusher between 2 and 3 o’clock. Therefore the crown is placed at 4 o’clock.
The current Linesport Centigraphe is large at 44mm and 11mm thick, but weighs only 81 grams. The bracelet is very flexible making it very comfortable to wear, and due to the lag of lugs, the watch does not wear as big as what the size suggests it will be.
Powering the Linesport Centigraphe is the Cal. 1506 movement made of aluminum-alloy that weighs only 12 grams. It has a feature that isolates the chronograph from the timekeeping function, giving it a more stable balance amplitude when the chronograph is running.
