Introduced in early 2020 to mark the 175th anniversary of the founding of A. Lange & Sohne, the 1815 Thin Honey Gold “Homage to F.A. Lange” is a simple watch with some exceptional details.
It has an enamel dial that is rarely used by Lange especially for such simple time only piece. And the case is crafted in 18K Honey Gold, a special gold alloy that Lange created and used the first time in 2010.
Honey Gold is a mix between yellow and rose gold that has a more muted hue. It is harder and more difficult to manufacture.
The 1815 Thin “Homage to F.A. Lange” is classically sized at 38mm and very slim at 6.3mm due to the Cal. 093.1 that has an unusual frosted finishing on the three-quarter plate. It is made as a 175 piece limited edition.
