Established in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, MING is a “horological collective” formed by six enthusiast from around the world under the leadership of Ming Thein, a photographer and a watch enthusiast. With their original and innovative design language and its affordability, MING gained popularity and loyal following. And their creation have been recognised by the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie in many occasion.
The Ming 20.11, first introduced in 2011, represent a finer direction this young brand is moving towards. It measures at a contemporary 41.5mm diameter with 14mm thickness in Grade 5 Titanium.
The star of the show is obviously the Mosaic dial. With 2,650 squares with varying size and opacity were made as a radiating pattern from the center of the dial. It is also fitted with sapphire crystal hands.
Powering the Ming 20.11 is a Schwarz-Etienne based Cal. ASE200.2 automatic movement with a sintered tungsten micro-rotor finished in black DLC coating and contrasting diamond-cut anglage.
