Parmigiani Fleurier was established in 1996 by Michel Parmigiani. Prior to this he run an independent restoration workshop, that over the years have restored many important and historical clocks and watches as well as became the training ground of some of the most important independent watchmakers today.

Parmigiani’s watches are elegant yet striking with its unique flair and always fitted with a highest quality in-house movement.

The Ionica, introduced in 1999, is Parmigiani’s first tonneau shaped watch. It is the predecessor to the more known Kalpa which was released in 2001.

It has a double knurled bezel and gadroons fitted to the tonneau shaped case that measures 35x45mm in 18K White Gold.

The dial is silver and it is hand guilloched with applied Breguet numerals, power reserve indicator at 12 and date window at 3. It also features the distinctive javelin-shaped hands.

Powered by the Cal. PF 110 movement that was created especially for tonneau shaped case, with 8 days power reserve and beautifully finished. The Cotes de Geneva on the bridges and the bevels on the curved bridges is a sight to behold.
