Minerva, a Villeret based watch manufacture established in the 19th century, that was known for great quality and reasonably priced timepiece based mostly on vintage calibre. In the early 2000s, under the ownership of Emilio Gnutti and direction of Demetrio Cabiddu, there was an ambition and goal to become a manufacture that produces the finest and highest quality timepieces. Unfortunately due to the economic crisis, Minerva was sold to the Richemont Group under the helm of Montblanc.
During the short period of the ownership Minerva produced some incredible timepieces including some time only piece, chronographs and even tourbillon.
The reference M132001 is a monopusher chronograph powered with the Cal. 13-21 that is based on vintage Cal. 13-20 from the 1920s.
This reference M132001's case measures at a contemporary 41mm diameter with 13mm thick profile in 18K White Gold. It is beautifully designed, with a concave bezel, sculpted lug and an arched officer style case back for comfort on the wrist.
This variant has a two-tone Rhodium grey dial, two register chronograph subdials in silver, applied hour markers with a tachymeter scale. The different contrast and surface finishing giving the watch a stunning visual. Just above 6 it is printed "Fait Main a Villeret" - proudly stating that was handmade in Villeret.
The Cal. 13-21 is hidden underneath the officer style case back that can be opened by tilting the metal end-link at 6. It is a monopusher chronograph based on the vintage Cal. 13-20 from the 1920s. The chronograph can be activated with a single button at 2. It consists of 239 parts that are hand-finished to the highest level.

The watch is in mint condition with some minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
