Lang & Heyne, founded in 2001, is a Dresden based watch manufacture known for making highly classical timepieces with incredible movement architecture and finish.
The Friedrich III, named after a past ruler of Saxony from the 14th century, is a simple yet distinct timepiece with 39.2mm diameter and 10.5mm thickness with the infamous triple lug design, simple crown guard and onion crown.
This version has an attractive 18K rose gold case paired with a triple layered royal blue dial and contrasting white Roman numerals along with a set of pike shaped hands.
Powering the Friedrich III is the Caliber VI that has a trigonal bridge, mustache escapement with gold balance cock, swan neck fine adjustment, engraved balance cock with diamond end stone and stop second function. The movement is frost finished and beveled nicely, the ratchet wheel is attractively snailed and it has the Lang & Heyne Dresden text as well as the model number hand engraved on the movement.
