The IWC Flieger or what we simply know as the Pilot goes all the way back in the 1940s with their infamous Mark XI. Under the helm of Gunther Blümlein, IWC made the iconic Flieger available to the general public.
The IWC Pilot Mark XVIII Hodinkee Edition was released as a 500 piece limited edition. It is made in a 39mm Ceratanium case, a material developed by IWC that has a lightweight feel of Titanium and scratch resistance of ceramic.
The dial is highly legible and inspired from the vintage Pilot watches with white Arabic numerals triangle shaped lume taking the place of the Arabic number 12, as well as stick shaped limes at 12, 3, 6 and 9.
It is powered by the Cal. 35100 no-date automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

The watch is in mint condition with some minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
