One of the oldest name in the world of watchmaking, Urban Jürgensen was founded in Copenhagen in 1773. They have been known for their innovation, intricate complication and the highest standard of craftsmanship and design.
In 1985, under the ownership of Peter Baumberger and an English watchmaker, Derek Pratt, started to slowly introducing complicated pocket watches and wristwatches.
The Reference 8 is a three-hander time only watch powered by upgraded Frederic Piguet caliber. The watch measures at 37mm diameter with a slim profile, stepped bezel and tear drop lugs.
The multiple pattern traditionally engine-turned guilloche dial is hand finished with a distinct slender solid gold and blue “Observatoire” style hands. It has a sub second at 6 with a highly functional date window.
The Frederic Piguet caliber is beautifully finished and decorated, featuring a 21K gold rotor with the Urban Jurgensen crest logo.
