In 2022, Benzinger introduced the GAP 1, short for “German Austrian Partnership” a collaboration with Habring2.
The case measures at 39mm in diameter with 11.5mm thickness in Stainless Steel. It has a crown at 2 and a quick-set date pusher at 3.
The dial is sterling silver, hand guilloched with two subdials for the mall second and date indicator, all bordered in a rose gold plated rings. It is paired with a flame blued Breguet hands for better legibility.
The movement is hand wound, developed together with Richard and Maria Habring. It features a Carl Haas spring balance for chronometer accuracy. It has highly decorated movement hand engraved by Jochen Benzinger.
