Audemars Piguet introduced the Millenary Star Wheel in the year 2000 as part of the collection to commemorate their 125th anniversary. It is made as a 125 piece Limited Edition.
The Star Wheel was first introduced in the early 1990s, taking inspiration from 17th century papal clock, unusual with its wandering hour time display. It was only produced in short period of time in small quantity. It features a 120-degree arc with minute track and rotating discs that display the hour.
The Millenary itself was first introduced in 1995 featuring an elliptical shaped case. The Millenary Star Wheel measures at 41mm x 37mm with a slim 9mm thickness, and this one is in Stainless Steel. It’s worth noting that this reference is the only Star Wheel case made in Stainless Steel.
The dial is dark blue with contrasting white print for the branding and minute track on its arc with three stars on the dial.
The Millenary Star Wheel is powered by the Cal. 2224 based on the Jaeger LeCoultre Cal. 889 Self-Winding movement.

The watch is in near mint condition with some sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
