Laurent Ferrier started his own brand in 2009, after his decorated career at Patek Philippe, where he was involved in the development of some of the most sought after pieces. And ever since, they has been one of the forefront name in classical watchmaking, with details inspired by 19th and mid 20th century fine Swiss watchmaking.
The Square was first introduced in 2015 and it was the first serially produced Stainless Steel case Laurent Ferrier. And as the name suggests features a squarish cushion-shaped case. As it is with other Laurent Ferrier case, it is sleek, refined and elegant, measuring at 41mm in diameter with 11mm thickness. It is paired with an onion shaped crown.
It has a sector dial with satin brush-finished ice blue color with applied drop-shaped indexes at 12, 3 and 9 and it is paired with a set of Assegai-shaped hands.
The Laurent Ferrier Square is powered by the Cal. FBN229.01 Self-winding movement with pawl-fitted micro-rotor and natrual escapement. It is very beautifully finished with Geneva stripes on the bridges, hand-chamfered flanks, angle on the main-plate, polished edges and screws.
