The DB28 has been the flagship model of De Bethune since its release in 2010. In the following year it won Aiguille d'Or at the GPHG. Throughout the years there has been many variation of the DB28 but this one here is the original variant introduced in 2010.

Despite the large size at 43mm it wears comfortably on the wrist due to the material in Titanium and thanks to the innovative articulated lugs that can adjust depending on the wearer wrist. The screw-down crown is placed at 12.

The delta shaped plate and barrel bridge is mirror polished at the center with Geneva stripees covering the rest of the movement plate. The hands are beautifully blued for better legibility. It has a subtle power reserve indicator between 2 to 3 just along the minute track. At 6 it showcases De Bethune’s iconic spherical moon phase made of blued steel and platinum.

The heart of the movement is a silicon balance wheel that is a flat mirror polished disc being gold by a mirror polished balance bridge at 6. It is secured with De Bethune’s patented triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system.
