Kollokium is a collaborative project between three friends, Manuel Emch (involved in the rebirth of Jacquet Droz as well as Romain Jerome and Louis Erard), Barth Nussbaumer (a watch designer) and Amr Sindi (The Horophile).
The Projekt 01 was first released in 2023. It has a geeky feel to it with a strong 80s vibe. It looks highly industrial and raw with strong attention to details.
The case is made of die casted stainless steel giving it a matte finish. It measures at 40mm in diameter with 11mm thickness including its cylindrical sapphire glass box.
The dial is complex with 468 individually hand-applied cylindrical elements in six different diameter and heights filled with Super-LumiNova. The hour and minute hands are black with Super-LumiNova outlines and a bright green sweeping second hand.
Powering the Projekt 01 is the automatic Cal. La Joux-Perret G-01 with 68 hours power reserve.
