Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
The Freak is the brainchild of the late Rolf Schnyder and Dr. Ludwig Oechslin. It is a watch with 7-day Tourbillon Carrousel, without hands, dial or crown. And not only that for the first time it has a new silicon escapement that does not need any lubrication. It was ultimately the first “hyperwatch” that changed the scene of Haute Horlogerie.
The Freak Blue Phantom was released in 2008 as an updated version of the original Freak. It is also larger at 44mm in diameter with just under 13mm in thickness in 18K White Gold.
The time is indicated by the carrousel movement rotating around its axis serving as the minute hand. Underneath is a sunburst blue dial with white Arabic numerals on a transparent sapphire ring with hour hand.
The Freak is powered by an in-house movement with seven-day power reserve. It also features silicon material for its anti-magnetic properties, resistance to temperature swings and minimum need of lubrication.
As it is with other Freak models, the winding can be done by turning the caseback, and time setting by turning the bezel.
