Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
Urwerk, the brainchild of Martin Frei and Felix Baumgartner, has been pushing boundaries in the world of horology by its unique sci-fi themed design and its unique ways of telling time, as early as the late 1990s.
The UR110 was launched during the Baselworld in 2011, it continues the tradition of telling the time using three orbiting and revolving satellites in the form of arrow shaped “torpedoes” mounted on planetary gears.
It also features a day/night indicator, running second hand and oil change indicator underneath this complex time telling mechanism.
The case is large at 47×51mm with 16mm thickness. On this model it has an 18K 5N Rose Gold top case combined with a high-tech Grade-5 titanium body.
The UR110 is powered by the UR-9.01 self-winding movement with a unidirectional winding rotor coupled to twin turbines similar to the one on the UR202.
