It is an iconic and important reference and it was produced between 1985-2007. The former CEO of Patek Philippe, Philippe Stern has been photographed in many occasions wearing the 3940.
This 3940 has a slim Calatrava style case with 36mm diameter with 8mm thickness in yellow gold. And it is a second series with an extremely rare and highly desirable doré dial. A dial that is commonly seen and associated with the first series Beyer signed 3940.
The 3940 is powered by the Cal. 240Q automatic movement with a 22K gold micro-rotor. This ultra-thin movement measures 3.75mm thick that is beautifully hand-finished.
