During the emergence of quartz watches, Girard Perregaux introduced a unique timepiece, called the Casquette in the mid to the late 1970s. It is a “driver’s watch” with an LED display angled to the wearer of the watch. It also has an integrated bracelet.

It was reissued in 2022, one year after Girard Perregaux teamed up with Bamford to create the first reissue of the Casquette for the Only Watch in 2021. This ceramic version was made as a 820 piece Limited Edition.

The case measures at 42.4 × 33.6mm in black ceramic with Titanium case back. It also features an integrated bracelet in ceramic with rubber backing.

It has two pushers on each side of the case to turn on the LED display and changes its function such as chronograph and second timezone. It is powered by the Cal. GP03980-1474 quartz movement
