Lang & Heyne, founded in 2001 by Marco Lang and Mirko Heyne, is a Dresden based watch manufacture known for making highly classical timepieces with incredible movement architecture and finish.
The Georg, named after a Duke of Saxony in the 15th century, is a rectangular watch three handed watch. It features many design element of previous Lang & Heyne watches, such as the triple lugs and the onion crown with the crown guard.
The case measures at 40 × 32mm with a relatively slim 9mm profile, this variant in 18K Rose Gold.
It has a highly legible two layer Grand Feu white enamel dial paired with a set of blade shaped hands.
The Cal. VIII is entirely made in house, impressively constructed and beautifully finished. Wide-open avant-garde stainless steel bridges and cocks with curved tops and large polished stone settings capture and reflect light from every angle of view. Different shapes and materials, as well as the contrast between polished and matte surfaces, give depth and intriguing geometries to the movement.
