Habring2 was founded by husband and wife Richard and Maria Habring in Austria. Richard Habring is well known for developing IWC’s Doppelchronograph.
The Erwin LAB03 is a unique collaboration between Habring2, J.N. Shapiro, the Horological Society of New York and Massena LAB.
The distinct feature of the Erwin LAB03 is clearly from the dial, that was designed by William Massena and hand-crafted by Joshua Shapiro in his Los Angeles workshop. The dial itself is made of bronze and has a salmon color with large Roman numerals paired with Breguet style hands.
It is powered by their in-house caliber A11MS hand-wound movement, featuring a patented deadbeat seconds complication. It is coated with rhodium and 5N rose gold giving it a distinct appearance.
The LAB03 is the first watch to receive official Chronometer Certification from the Horological Society of New York, America’s first watchmaking guild. Therefore the movement is stamped with the HSNY logo.
