Habring2 was founded by husband and wife Richard and Maria Habring in Austria. Richard Habring is well known for developing IWC’s Doppelchronograph.
While Jochen Benzinger, a master hand engraver, who is known for his work with brands like A. Lange & Sohne and his own Benzinger watches. He has created uniquely hand-finished timepieces that features Breguet-style dials and hand-engraved movement.
In 2016, Habring2 introduced the Five Minute Repeater built on their in-house A11B movement with a 5-minute repeater module made by Dubois-Depraz. The repeater can be activated by the pusher at 10.
So the hours are indicated with a single “dings” while the five-minute segments are indicated with a “ding-dongs”.
The case is 42mm in diameter with total height of 13.5mm partially due to the slightly raised sapphire crystal. The mid case is made of Grade-2 Titanium with brushed finish while the bezel and case back is made of Grade-5 Titanium with polished finish. Interestingly this Five Minute Repeater has a 50 meter water resistance. A feature highly unusual for any repeaters.
The Habring2 Benzinger Five Minute Repeater is a limited 5-piece run and each has unique design on the engraving. This example here is the No. 2 with Floral pattern. The bridges on the front and back are completely stripped and skeletonized and beautifully hand-engraved by the master engraver.

The watch is in mint condition with minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
