When we talk about Roger Dubuis today, we tend to think of the brand that offers Avantgarde design with modern material. What many didn’t realize was, Roger Dubuis started the company independently in 1995 after his time at Patek Philippe. There were mainly two lines of watches produced during the time, the classic round case Hommage series and a more funky Sympathie series.
The Sympathie has a very unique angular case design. It features satin finish on the caseband and lug profiles and high polished bezel and oversized exposed lugs screws. It measures at 37mm in width with a slim 8mm profile in 18K White Gold. It also comes with an additional solid White Gold case back in the set.
It comes with a highly attractive salmon color dial with radiating guilloche pattern with applied Breguet numerals paired with a set of blued steel hand with a central sweeping second hand.
It is powered by the Cal. RD57 Self-Winding movement that not only finished to the highest level, it also comes with a Bulletin de Marche by the Observatoire National de Besancon chronometer certificate, proving its fine accuracy of this very movement.
