The Reverso was born in 1931, designed to withstand polo matches of British Army officers in India, recognisable with its rectangular reversible case with art-deco aesthetic. It was reborn in 1991 for their 60th anniversary and it has become a favourite for collectors for its unique design and even the complication it carries.
The Reverso 1931 is a series of tribute to the original Reverso with a design faithful to the original. This variant was introduced in 2013 as a part of their 180th anniversary celebration and it was made as a boutique exclusive.
It measures at 46.5mm long and 27.5mm wide with 9.5mm thick profile in Stainless Steel. It has a pusher at 2 to adjust the second timezone on the reverse side of the watch.
It comes on a lacquered blue dial with “Reverso” branding faithful to the original Reverso dial from 1931. On the reverse side it has an opaline white dial with “Clous de Paris” guilloche finish, and small 24 hour indicator at the bottom
