Zenith is a name synonymous with innovation especially with their chronographs. They created the El Primero movement that was the first automatic chronograph made in 1969. In 2020 Zenith collaborated with Land Rover to create a limited edition as a nod to the Land Rover Defender released earlier in 2019.
It has a micro-blasted Titanium case measuring 44mm in diameter with 14.4mm thickness, it features a crown with orange accent. It is paired with a matte grey dial with three chronograph counters and orange hands. It also has a linear power reserve indicator just underneath the Zenith branding.
It is powered by the Zenith El Primero Cal. 9004 with twin balance wheel and gear train, one for the time and the other for the chronograph. The balance wheel for the chronograph runs at 360,000 beats per hour. As a result the chronograph is a true 1/100th of a second stopwatch, with the central seconds hand making one revolution around the dial every second.
