Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
First launched in 1969, designed by Jack Heuer, the Monaco was named after one of the most glamorous Formula 1 Grand Prix. It was the first water-resistant square watch, achieved by the use of a one-piece inner case - essentially a capsule containing the movement and the dial, it is then secured to the outer case with tension seal.
The Hour Glass edition was introduced in 2019 as an exclusive 50 pieces limited edition. The case is black DLC coated Stainless Steel reminiscent to the legendary Monaco “Dark Lord” from 1974. It measures at 39m wide with 15mm thickness, partly due to the square sapphire crystal with beveled edges. The crown is placed at 9 o’clock and the chronograph pushers at 2 and 4.
The dial is striking with beige color giving it a stark contrast to the case. It has a circular minute track with red hour markers with lume plots. It has an applied “12” giving it a modern vibe.
Powering the Monaco is the Caliber 11 based on a Sellita SW300 with a Dubois-Depraz chronograph module on top.
