Introduced in 2016, the PAM00786 is a two-piece special edition set taking inspiration from the Pre-Vendome era. It was made as a 500 piece limited edition.
One of the watch from the set is taking an inspiration from a prototype towards the end of the Pre-Vendome era with the reference 5218-218/A branded as the Luminor Black Seal - Slytech Panerai - with a twist. It features a DLC coated Stainless Steel case with a dial and print faithful to the Pre-Vendome era prototype minus the Slytech branding. The crown is placed at 9 to accommodate a left-handed wearer.
The other one also taking inspiration from a prototype Slytech model, reference 5218-207/A Luminor Daylight - Slytech Panerai. That features a Stainless Steel case with white dial and blue print minus the Slytech branding. This Daylight model has much less luminous material on the indexes, just at the dot indexes in its quarters.
These watches has identical, Bettarini style 44mm case with 13.5mm thickness.
These 2 watches are equipped with the Cal. P.5000 hand wound movement with 8 days power reserve.
