The Rolex Submariner reference 16610LV nicknamed “Kermit” was introduced in 2003 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Submariner. For the first time the Submariner was fitted with a bright green aluminum bezel, a color highly synonymous with Rolex.
The 16610LV measures at 40mm in diameter with 13mm thick profile in Oystersteel, Rolex’s 904L Stainless Steel alloy that is superior to the standard 316L, and is highly corrosion resistant.
It features a black Maxi dial, meaning that it has larger hour markers and broader hands for higher visibility.
It is powered by the Cal. 3135 a COSC certified self-winding movement with hacking seconds and quickset date.
