Collection › A. Lange & Sohne 212.050 1815 Moon Phase Honey Gold

A. Lange & Sohne 212.050 1815 Moon Phase Honey Gold

$64,000.00

Sold under Gross Margin Scheme

The 1815 Moonphase Honey Gold was introduced in 2010 as part of the 165th Anniversary of F.A. Lange. Together with the Tourbograph “Pour le Merite” and the Lange 1 Tourbillon, these were the first three model to use Lange’s proprietary patented 18K gold alloy with a more subtle hue compared to Rose Gold and is significantly harder than platinum and other gold alloy.

It measures at 37.5mm in diameter with 9.5mm thick profile with its usual Lange case construction, with brushed case band and notched lugs.

The dial is done in a more traditional way than the predecessor, a silver dial with guilloche center and printed Arabic numerals and a railroad style minute track. The moon phase indicator that is accurate for 1000 years is placed at 8 and the sub second indicator is placed at 4.

Powering the watch is the Cal. L943.2 hand wound movement with sunray radiant finish as opposed to the usual stripes. It features a hand engraved script “A. Lange & Sohne Glashutte” with the serial number as well as a wave like pattern framing it.
