Armin Strom, first founded in 1967 by master watchmaker Armin Strom and in 2009 revived by Serge Michel and Claude Greisler. They established a modern manufacture in Biel, specializing in innovative, high quality time piece rooted in Swiss-German watchmaking tradition.

The Tribute 1 is Armin Strom’s interpretation of classical dress watch. The case measures at 38mm in diameter with just over 9mm thickness in Stainless Steel. The crown is placed at 2 for better ergonomics for time setting. As a notch to their design language, it still features a much more subtle “lip” on the bezel at 6 o'clock. It features a domed sapphire crystal that gives the dial a three-dimensional feel.

The SHH Edition was made to commemorate the grand opening of Sincere Haute Horlogerie in Kuala Lumpur as a 12 piece Limited Edition. It has a silver sun-brushed main dial plate with an off-centered dial with tremblage finished salmon dial, framed by a steel ring railroad style minute track. The barrel is displayed on the bottom right part of the dial and it is held in place with a twin-arm cock that has been exquisitely beveled.

Powering the watch is the Cal. AMW 21 hand wound movement with 100 hour power reserve. It is hand-finished at the highest level, it can be seen by the three-quarter plate is finished with Geneva stripes and circular graining, the bevels are hand-polished at 60 degrees angle as well as the high polished counter sink on its jewels.
