The DB28 has been the flagship model of De Bethune since its release in 2010. In the following year it won the Aiguille d'Or award at the GPHG. Throughout the years there have been many variation of the DB28. In 2020, De Bethune introduced the DB28XP that is a slimmer version of the DB28 - XP is short for Extra Plat / Extra Flat in French.
The case measures at 43mm in diameter with a slim 7.2mm profile in grade 5 Titanium with microlight finished case band. It features De Bethune’s signature floating lug in grade 5 Titanium ensuring maximum comfort to the wearer. The DB28XP now features crown guard to protect the crowning make the crown easier to a access to adjust the time and wind.
The DB28XP Starry Sky features blue dial with microlight decoration and a starry sky motif dial, meticulously crafted with polished titanium stars to create an activating celestial display. The chapter ring is in two tone silver with Arabic numeral indicating the hour and minute marker right on the outside. The hands are polished pink gold with De Bethune’s iconic delta silhouette.
Powering the DB28XP is the Cal. DB2115v7 hand wound movement featuring an in-house silicon escape wheel with 6 days power reserve thanks to its self-regulating twin barrel. The balance wheel with the white gold insert optimized for temperature differences and air penetration is visible on the dial at 6.

The watch is in mint condition with minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
