The Langematik Perpetual was introduced in 2001 as the first perpetual calendar from A. Lange & Sohne. It was the first perpetual calendar that features a big date display, a feature that has become synonymous with Lange for their Lange 1 and Datograph.
It measures at a classic 38.5mm with a relatively slim 10mm profile in Platinum. It is paired with a symmetrical and highly legible dial in solid sterling silver with applied Roman numerals.
The iconic big date indicator is placed at 12, month and leap year at 3 and the day and 24 hour indicator is placed at 9. It also has a moon phase indicator together with the sub second indicator at 6.
Powering the Langematik Perpetual is the Cal. L922.1, based on the igneous Sax-0-Mat Cal. L921.2 with a perpetual calendar module on top. It is made of 478 parts with a pleasing aesthetic of the three-quarter plate and the beautifully engraved rotor.

The watch is in near mint condition with some minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
