First introduced in 2002, the Tambour - French for “drum” has become an icon for Louis Vuitton’s watches. In 2023 the Tambour undergone a massive revamp as they started to invest heavily to improve their watchmaking department.
It has a sleek 40mm case with a slim 8.3mm thick profile in Stainless Steel with a newly designed integrated bracelet.
This version features a blue dial with multiple layer and steps. The center disc is vertically brushed giving it a good contrast to the texture. The recessed small seconds subdial sits at 6 o’clock and it has concentric circular pattern. The applied indexes are finely crafted from 18K White Gold and filled with luminescent material for better visibility in the dark.
It is powered by the Cal. LFT023 self-winding movement with micro-rotor, the brand’s first in-house automatic time only movement designed by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. It has 50 hours power reserve and it is Chronometer certified by Time Lab.
