Audemars Piguet holds a deeply rooted connection to the tourbillon, having pioneered the mass production of self-winding tourbillon wristwatches. It was a breakthrough as it was only 4.8mm thick. And the tourbillon first appears in a Royal Oak case in 1997 for the icon’s 25th anniversary.
The reference 26730 first introduced in 2022 for the Royal Oak’s 50th anniversary. It is a direct successor and update to the reference 26530.
This model measures at 41mm in diameter with just around 10.5mm thick profile in 18K Rose Gold with an integrated bracelet.
It features a smoked blue grande tapisserie dial with an aperture displaying the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock.
It is powered by the Cal. 2950 Self-Winding Tourbillon movement with flying tourbillon and central commemorative 50th Anniversary rotor.
