Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
The Ingenieur dates back to 1954, developed for engineers, very similar to Rolex Milgauss. In the mid 1970s, the Ingenieur SL was introduced, it was designed by none other than Gerald Genta with the theme of luxury sports watch just like the Royal Oak and Nautilus.
Introduced in 2023, this current IWC Ingenieur draws its inspiration from the Gerald Genta designed Ingenieur SL with modern refinements.
It measures at 40mm in diameter with just under 11mm thick profile in Stainless Steel. The bezel has five exposed hex-head screws, with one screw aligned perfectly centered at 12. It also features a newly added crown guard for safety and durability.
The integrated bracelet is nicely engineered with a hidden butterfly clasp. And similar to many IWC from the 1990s the links are easily removable with a simple tool given in the set.
It has a vintage inspired dial with the grid pattern in “Aqua” color that has a greenish blue hue with the classic “Ingenieur” logo at 6 and a useful date window at 3.
Powering the watch is the Cal. 32111 self-winding movement with an escape wheel and pallet lever in silicon for minimum friction and optimal efficiency. It has a long 120 hours power reserve.
