The Freak is the brainchild of the late Rolf Schnyder and Dr. Ludwig Oechslin. It is a watch with 7-day Tourbillon Carrousel, without hands, dial or crown. And not only that for the first time it has a new silicon escapement that does not need any lubrication. It was ultimately the first “hyperwatch” that changed the scene of Haute Horlogerie.
The Freak X was introduced in 2019 as a more accessible version of the Freak that is easily worn daily. It still has the same spirit of the Freak with a simpler movement and accessible price point.
It measures at 43mm in diameter with 13.5mm thick profile in Titanium with a blue PVD coated Titanium bezel and case back ring. The lugs are short making it easier to wear even for smaller wrists.
Just like the original Freak, the Freak X has its flying carousel working as the minute hand rotating completely around its axis once every hour. The hours are tracked by a pointer set onto a rotating disc that sits discreetly underneath the main rotating movement.
This Caliber UN-230 self-winding movement is modern with super-light weight in-house silicon balance wheel with self-regulating micro-blades and nickel flyweights for enhanced precision and anti magnetism and it has a 72 hours power reserve.

The watch is in near mint condition with some minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
