Introduced in 2016, the Patek Philippe 5930G was released together with the 5230 that is a successor to the highly successful World Time 5130. With the 5930, Patek Philippe combined the world time complication with chronograph for the first time.
The case has a modern classic proportion of 39.5mm diameter with 13mm thickness, crafted in 18K White Gold. It has a prominent and beautifully sculpted lugs similar to the one on the 5230. It has two rectangular chronograph pusher at 2 and 4 and the quick adjustment for the world time at 10.
This version was made exclusively for Singapore market to commemorate the Patek Philippe Grand Exhibition in 2019 as a 300 piece limited edition. It features a vignette red guilloche dial that darkens towards the edges and a 24 hour city ring with Singapore replacing Beijing. And it has a 30 minute chronograph counter at 6 with a central sweeping chronograph second hand.
It is powered by the Cal. CH 28-520 HU, Patek Philippe’s first in-house self-winding chronograph with World Time module on top.
