Sold under Gross Margin Scheme
Launched in 1999, the Datograph was groundbreaking with its spectacular fully in-house hand-wound flyback chronograph movement, which at the time only one year earlier, Patek Philippe introduced the 5070 with a Lemania based movement. Ever since, the Datograph has not only become an icon but also a benchmark for a high-end hand-wound chronographs.
This Datograph is highly recognisable with its Platinum case measuring 39.5mm diameter with 13mm thickness paired with a black dial and white subdials , tachymeter scale and of course the big-date indicator at 12.
The movement is certainly the highlight of the Datograph, the Cal. L951.1 has a straight-forward traditionally constructed horizontal-clutch column-wheel chronograph mechanism but was done extraordinarily, it has a spectacular architecture with the finest level of finish in the industry.
