Montblanc Villeret 1858 Pulsographe

$0.00
sold out

Sold under Gross Margin Scheme

In 2006, Richemont acquired the Minerva manufacture and integrated it into Montblanc. And over the year Montblanc has released a number of spectacular watches under the Villeret/1858 line powered by Minerva’s movement.

The Montblanc Villeret 1858 Pulsographe was first introduced in 2011 as a very exclusive 58 piece Limited Edition each in White Gold and Rose Gold.

The case measures at 39.5mm in diameter with 12mm thickness. It is refined with concave bezel with beveled lugs. The crown is topped with the Montblanc logo in mother-of-pearl and black lacquer. The single chronograph pusher is rectangular and placed at 2.

The dial is inspired by vintage chronographs from the 1930-1940s in white Grand Feu enamel with black prints for the indexes and the sub dials and a combination red and blue print and hands. It has a pulsation scale on the outer rim of the dial hence the name, Pulsographe.

Powering the watch is the spectacular Cal. 13-21 hand wound column-wheel chronograph movement based on the vintage 13-20 from the 1920s. The finish is beautifully executed from the striping, angling and straight graining. The teeth on the wheels are polished. Even the pallet fork bridge edges are all angled and polished.
