Founded in 2005 by a self-taught watchmaker Aniceto Jimenez Pita, Pita Barcelona was a small family ran independent watch manufacture. They have been an AHCI member since 2006.
In 2009, Aniceto Pita was featured in a book called “Masters of Contemporary Watchmaking” by Michael Clerizo, together with other 10 watchmakers including George Daniels, Svend Andersen, Vincent Calabrese, Philippe Dufour, Antoine Preziuso, Franck Muller, Alain Silberstain, Marco Lang, Vianney Halter and Roger Smith.
The Carousel is probably the most unique timepiece made by Pita. It measures 40mm in diameter with a slim 8mm profile in 18K Yellow Gold. It does not have the ordinary crown but it features a Pita-Time Setting Mechanism System by turning the caseback to set the time.
It has a white dial with black prints for the hour marker and minute tracks. And this one has a 24-hour display pointed only with a single hand.
It is powered by the self-winding movement that is based on the ETA 2678 that has been modified.

The watch is in near mint condition with some minor sign of wear. The movement runs and functions well at the time of testing.
