Breguet was reborn in the 1970s under the Chaumet brothers. Together with their master watchmaker, Daniel Roth, they revived the manufacture by implementing complications with many fine details of Breguet timepieces from their archives.
First introduced in the mid 1980s, the reference 3230Classique Chronograph has a very distinct Breguet design language, such as the coin edge case band, engine turned guilloche dial and the distinctive blued Breguet hands. It measures at 36mm in diameter with 10mm thick profile.
The dial is made from a solid gold blank, cut on a r one lathe and undergoes a galvanic treatment in silver. It features multiple guilloche finish and paired with a set of blued Breguet hands.
The reference 3237 was introduced slightly later and it has a display caseback showcasing the Cal. 533 that is essentially based on the Lemania Cal. 2310 that was a popular choice for finely crafted manual winding chronograph watches until the early 2000s.
