IWC 3757 Pilot Spitfire Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
Price excludes 9% GST for local Singapore buyers
The IWC Flieger or what we simply know as the Pilot goes all the way back in the 1940s with their infamous Mark XI. Under the helm of Gunther Blümlein, IWC made the iconic Flieger available to the general public.
The reference 3757 is part of a 50 piece limited edition made for Sincere, a retailer in Singapore, for their 50th Anniversary in 2004. It features both Perpetual Calendar and Chronograph in the Pilot case that is highly unusual during that period.
It measures at 42mm in diameter with 16.5mm thick case in Stainless Steel. It features a unique Sincere logo on the crown marking its special relation with the Singapore based retailer.
It has a two-tone silver dial with a highly legible and balanced layout with applied Arabic numerals and luminous hands.
It is powered by the IWC Cal. 79261 Self-Winding movement with Perpetual Calendar and Chronograph complication.
It’s’ worth noting that IWC’s Perpetual Calendar movement has been around since the 1980s, invented by Kurt Klaus, a former head watchmaker in IWC. It is known for the total synchronization and the ease of use. The calendar is all synchronized and can easily be adjusted with by turning the crown.
