The Royal Oak started a whole new category of wristwatch when it was launched in 1972, luxury stainless steel sports watch, and it is hard to find a watch that is more iconic than the Royal Oak.
The reference 15305 was first introduced in 2010 and it was not the first Royal Oak Skeleton, as previously Audemars Piguet has created Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Skeleton. However due to its accessibility when it first came out it becomes highly popular to collectors.
The design is iconic with its Octagonal shaped bezel with exposed screws and integrated bracelet. It measures at 39mm with just under 10mm in thickness in Stainless Steel.
The finish of the movement can be seen on the dial side is exquisite with a ruthenium finish giving it a very contemporary modern and industrial feel to it.
Powering the watch is the Cal. 3129, an openworked version of the in-house Cal. 3120. It has 60 hour power reserve and a stand out skeletonized 18K Rose Gold rotor.
