The Royal Oak is perhaps one of if not the most iconic sports watch ever made. Celebrating their 50th Anniversary in 2022, Audemars Piguet launched an updated version of the whole Royal Oak Line Up and especially for that year’s model was equipped with a commemorative “50th Anniversary” rotor.
The 26240ST is the current version of the Royal Oak Chronograph. It has a contemporary 41mm case with 12mm thickness. And the Royal Oak is always distinctive with its octagonal bezel with exposed screws and the beautifully integrated bracelet.
It has a classic three-register chronograph dial in black with a date window between 4-5. And this current version features an applied “Audemars Piguet” logo at 12.
Powering the watch is a Cal. 4401 Self-winding movement with flyback chronograph complication and it has a 70h power reserve.
