Previously in 2005, FP Journe created a limited series Octa Perpeteuelle for Tokyo Boutique that was basically a modified Octa Calendrier that becomes a Perpetual Calendar.
Introduced in 2013, the Quantieme Perpetuel offers a Perpetual Calendar watch with instantaneous jump with easy and safe calendar setting. In 2020 the Quantieme Perpetuel went through a facelift with a new style dial.
This Boutique Edition features a 40mm diameter case with 11mm thickness in 18K Rose Gold paired with a blue guilloche dial.
Unlike most Perpetual Calendar watches, the Quantieme Perpetuel’s dial is not cluttered and it is really easy to read. It has applied hour markers and framed with a railroad style minute track. It has the day and month window just above the center axis of the dial and a big date just under the axis. At the center it has a small hand displaying the leap year. And just at 9 o’clock is the 120 hour power reserve indicator.
The Calendar can easily be adjusted without any tools just with a three-position crown and a hidden lever underneath the lug at 1 o’clock.
Powering the Quantieme Perpetuel is the Cal. 1300.3 Self-Winding movement made of 18K Rose Gold with a 120 hour power reserve.
