In the world of horology, Cartier is known as the King of Shapes. They have made many of the most elegant time-only pieces the world has ever seen.
The Tank Cintrée (Curved Tank) was first inducted In 1921. The case is curved to follow the curvature of the wearer’s wrist for ergonomic reason, and during that time it was unusually large for a wristwatch.
In the 1990s, Cartier created this Tank Cintrée Dual Time that houses two mechanical movements into one case and split the dial into two sections for separate time indication with two individual crowns.
The case is made of 18K Yellow Gold with 46mm in length and 23mm in width. As it is with the previous generation Cintree, the case is curved to follow the contour of the wrist, making it a very comfortable watch to wear.
The dial is split into two sections, one with full Roman numerals and minute track on top and another one with XII, III, VI, IV Roman Numerals and baton printed hour markers without minute track at the bottom.
The Cintree Dual Time is powered by two ETA Cal. 2412 movement that power the two timezone individually and can be adjusted independently with their two crowns.
