Felipe Pikullik, a young German independent watchmaker that established his own atelier in Berlin in 2017 when he was still 23. His journey into watchmaking started in Glashutte, the capital of watchmaking in Germany, where he apprenticed at some renowned independent brands such as Kudoke and Rolf Lang.
The FPSK series, simply a short for Felipe Pikullik Skeleton is a fully hand-skeletonized timepieces that showcases Felipe’s artistry and craftmanship.
The FSPK22 is the inaugural version of the series, that started in 2022. It was made as a 5 piece limited edition. It is based on a hand-wound ETA 6497-1 movement that is entirely openwork, black rhodium plated and meticulously hand finished.
The case is measures at 41mm with 10.5mm thickness in Stainless Steel. It features thin bezel, flared lugs, polished finish throughout the case and brushed case band.
From the dial side we can see the beautifully skeletonized movement upfront with black rhodium plated bridges and contrasting gold colored gears, framed by a slim chapter ring with engraved hour and minute markers.
The movement can be enjoyed through the sapphire crystal case back. Where we can see the blast finished bridges contrast against the polished bevels and interior angle around the edges. And just as it is with traditional German watches, the balance cock has been hand engraved.
