In 2023, Credor introduced the reference GCBY997 as part of the Art Piece Collection. And the highlight of the watch is the dial that is inspired by Ryusei’s Raden shooting star theme. It was crafted by master Urushi lacquer artist Isshu Tamura, each piece of delicate mother-of-pearl inlay are cut to a 0.2mm thickness and carefully laid out to vividly form the scenery of a meteor shower motif.
The case measures at 37mm in diameter with 6.5mm thickness in Stainless Steel.
The ultra-thin case was made possible due to the movement powering this Credor, the Cal. 6890 hand-wound movement with an impressive 1.98mm thick. It is beautifully finished and it can be enjoyed through the display case back.
