The PAM001 was one of the earliest Vendome (Richemont) era model. It has one of the most recognizable dial layout with 12, 3 and 6 numerals and sub second indicator at 9. It features painted luminous numerals with solid case back. In 2002, it was replaced by the PAM111 that has a display case back and later on a sandwich dial.
In the year 2014 Panerai re-released a PAM001 specially for the Firenze boutique. It has a “fat” indexes reminiscing the Pre Vendome and Pre A series Panerai and it has a 4 line dial : “Luminor Marina” on top and “Panerai Firenze” at the bottom.
The case back is specially engraved with the Firenze boutique facade and underneath it is the Cal. OP II based on the ETA 6497-1 movement.
