Panerai PAM520 Radiomir 1940 Chronograph

$0.00
sold out

Price excludes 9% GST for local Singapore buyers

Introduced in 2014, the Radiomir 1940 Chronograph was made in three different version, in Platinum, Rose Gold and White Gold. Chronograph is not very common for Panerai but it’s also not something new. Their first chronograph was first created in 1943, that is the infamous Mare Nostrum, made for the Italian Navy’s deck officer.

The PAM520 is made as a 100 piece limited edition. It has a cushion case with lugs without the crown guard. The dial has a “sandwich” construction in black with cream colored prints and ecru colored luminova giving it a strong vintage vibe. It has a more unusual indexes with batons in each quarter and dots on the rest, it is inspired from the earliest Radiomir Panerai, the reference 2533 prototype. It is paired with a pair of syringe hands in gold.

The case is large and measures at 45mm with 16mm thickness in 18K White Gold. To add to its vintage appeal, it is fitted with a domed plexiglass.

Powering the PAM520 is the Cal. OP XXV based on the Minerva hand wound chronograph movement that is beautifully finished and decorated. This movement is also used for the Mare Nostrum reissue both in 2010 and 2015.
